Type Locality

Squirrel Chimney, a small cave about 11 miles (17.6 km) northwest of Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida (Sec. 21, T. 9S, R. 18E).

Range

Florida: Hernando and Marion counties to Alachua and Suwannee counties.

Habitat

Subterranean waters.
